The Microbiology Poster Prize will be awarded to one scientific poster at the 19th International Conference on Bacilli & Gram-Positive Bacteria. The prize will be awarded to a poster that presents particularly compelling or novel research in the journal’s subject field. It will be presented at the meeting by Microbiology Senior Editor Tarek Msadek with the winner receiving a cash prize, one-year complimentary Microbiology Society membership and certificate. All posters are automatically entered into the prize.
In order to encourage young scientists to share and publish their work, Bacillus Industrial Platform (BACIP) has decided to repeat the well-received “Young scientist award” from the previous meetings. Two outstanding oral presentations and two poster presentations made by a student or postdoctoral fellow will be recognized and awarded.
Two prizes for outstanding oral presentations consist of a cash award of Euro 1000 each.
Two prizes for outstanding poster presentations consist of a cash award of Euro 500 each.
